sleep paralysis, a poem

sleep paralysis
Long
limber
frail
arms
swimming in a coffin
that stretches out
into a labyrinth
free falling
in space;
grim concentration
mingles with despair
as you search
for a way
out.

      claustrophobia dream or reality this makes me feel of desperation .. the wording is so expressive of this .. I want to strike out .. :) Love this so raw like a scream :)

      I have never found anyone else who experiences sleep paralysis! Do you? I assume you must if you can write about it so well.

      I think you really got what was intended, thank you!

      @Athena:
      I really do get sleep paralysis, not too often, but when I do it’s terrible. Thank you for your comments!

    4. Sleep paralysis? I had to look it up. Sounds mortifying and reading about it laid a great groundwork for the poem.
