Innumerable remarks
censures
all moving in on me
telling me what to believe
about you;
telling me
you’ve lied
and cheated –
but when I see you
standing there in front of me
your eyes so large
and with just a glint
of a tear …
I don’t care what they say
I’ll take you in
again and again
and love you
all the more.

    what have you done?

    The glass catches
    random reverberations
    and shatters;
    a clattering that asks,
    what have you done?

    Yourself,
    the center of a world
    revolving around you;
    what have you done?

      the greatest lover

      As a fantasy
      for someone else
      to dwell upon
      he was the greatest lover
      of them all.

      But as a reality
      for her to bear
      he was a burden
      epic in proportion
to be carried a long ways
      to little accolade.

        poetry: worthy iii

        Outbreaks occur but rarely
and last only a short time

        serious investigation
        scientific analysis
        are difficult to pursue

        observers note that
        activities center around
        a particular person
        often an adolescent female

        a recurrence of mysterious rapping
        is spirit communication
        one rap for no
        two raps for doubtful
        three raps for yes
        four raps for bliss

        ask the spirit
        what it thinks of you
        hope for four raps.

          poetry: worthy ii

          Shared affinity
          for fascism
          a new nation forming
          a biological conception of race
          positive evaluation
          as easy as being born
          sit in the classroom
          and learn
          how unworthy you are.

            People, mail order plants, factories
retail stores scattering left and right
            consumerism grinding

            a company with basic merchandise
            stable operating policies
            in an economy upside down

            take advantage of the growth
            grow grow grow
            decentralize leadership
move out, take over the world

            ask yourself are you worthy
            listen for an answer
only dust blowing in the wind.
